Product Introduction
The Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger (BPHE) represents an advanced evolution of the gasketed plate heat exchanger. In this design, the sealing material has transitioned from rubber gaskets to copper, with all plates fused together using copper filler metal. Just as all contact points in a gasketed exchanger must fit tightly, all contact points in a brazed exchanger must be completely welded together. This integral structure guarantees high heat transfer efficiency, superior pressure resistance, and an extended operational lifespan.
Copper-brazed plate heat exchangers share similarities with all-welded plate heat exchangers, as both are gasket-free and suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure operating conditions. While they are generally not designed for maintenance or manual cleaning, the key difference lies in the welding process: all-welded plates are joined via argon arc welding, whereas brazed plates are fused by melting copper foil at high temperatures. Additionally, copper-brazed units are typically more compact than all-welded models. As a cutting-edge solution in the heating and cooling fields, the copper-brazed plate heat exchanger offers standard advantages such as a small footprint, compact structure, and high efficiency, while also excelling in handling small temperature differences, making it a highly energy-efficient product.
